since its introduction, macromedia's flash/shockwave technology has changed the way we view the web; from navigation interfaces, to games, to complex applications, flash has expanded from simple vector animation tool to a powerful development software. despite the increasing complexity of flash, the use of flash as a 'pure' aesthetic medium (as painting or sculpture) has not been exploited.
The works presented here focus on how beautifully useless flash can be. there is no scripting, no transparent popups, no text-- no content other than color, form and sound.
